Notes

(1) Depending on what was ordered, the engine could comply with the EPA's Tier 0, Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 emissions standards (the X in the loco name also changes depending on what tier the loco complies with).

(2) This changes depending on what the donor loco is, but 9 times out of 10 it would be either a Blomberg-B or Blomberg-M.

(3) Speed is also dependent on the donor loco. If it had EMD's D87 traction motors for example, the base speed would be 70mph while the top speed would be either 70, 76, 82 or 88mph (gonna go back in time).

(4) TM current is also dependent on the donor loco. The aforementioned D87s, on a 4-axle locomotive, have a max alternator current rating of 6,600A, max TM current of 1,650A and max continuous current of either 1,170A on a GP49/50 or 1,205A on a GP59/60.

(5) If extended range dynamic brakes are desired, 800A is the max DB current.
