• Check you are not in yolo/skip mode or auto_accept_permissions (Settings → Advanced)
• An earlier Always may cover it — it resets on /new or app restart
• Look for the permission notification (enable notifications for Agent 24)
• Background session? Switch to it — pending popups re-show on focus

Code	Meaning	What to do
401	bad key	re-enter it with /connect
402	quota empty	top up or switch provider
429	rate limited	wait — auto-retry backs off by itself
5xx	provider down	fallback kicks in; or /model another

• First launch asks for storage + all-files access — if you skipped it, Settings → Apps → Agent 24 → Permissions
• Terminal needs storage symlinks: they are built automatically on first run

Tap the retry chip on the reply — oversized tool calls are now split into smaller ones automatically; check Sessions for the queue state.
