System Settings - Foundryborne/daggerheart GitHub Wiki

This page explains the different configuration settings for the Foundry system.

You can find the system settings under Foundry's Game Settings Tab in the sidebar, and then under the Configure Settings button. In the Game Settings window you will then find the Daggerheart section in the left sidebar.

Automation Settings

In the Automation Settings you can enable and disable the automation for hope & fear costs for both players and GM actions, tracking of Action Points, Horde Damage calculations, Range Dependencies for Effects, as well as the Levelup Automation.

Configure Homebrew

Under the Homebrew settings you can change the maximum value for the Fear Tracker, how many domains can be added to each class, how many domain cards can be active int he loadout, and the initial Trait modifiers for character creation, as well as overwrite the currency names and configure the amount and type of short and long rest downtime moves.

Appearance Settings

Here you can change the appearance of the Fear Tracker between Tokens (default), Bar, and hidden. Custom options for this feature are not currently available but planned for a future release. You can also disable the display of Foundry Status Effects, and the Dice So Nice options for the Duality Dice and Advantage/Disadvantage Dice (the Dice So Nice module is not required to use this system, but if it is present will work out of the box).

Variant Rules

Variant Rules settings for the action tracker, and range settings for measuring on the canvas in "daggerheart units".
