Ignoring Frame Navigation - Foulest/Osprey GitHub Wiki
By default, Osprey ignores frame navigations when you browse the web due to false positives. Frame navigation refers to different URLs being loaded on a website in the background (i.e., Google Analytics links in the background of a web page, or CAPTCHA elements that originate from different websites, such as https://hcaptcha.com). False positives can occur with this extra-strict URL checking. For example, one or more providers may block the entire page due to a false detection of an advertising element, a CDN network, or a third-party analytics tool. It's not recommended for most to have it enabled.
If you want to disable ignoring frame navigation and have Osprey check every URL loaded by a website, here's how:
- Right-click Osprey's icon in your extension toolbar.
- Click the
Ignore frame navigation
setting in the context menu.
You can test frame navigations being detected by visiting this test page with Microsoft SmartScreen enabled.
