Lab 5-1: Network in PT

• Note: Most of the work done within this lab was done in the 3-3 DHCP lab. The only difference here is to solve my big struggle with the distribution of my vlans and DNS setup.

Configure DNS

• Turn on DNS in services
• Ensure its an A record
• Two Records were made
• ns.station-number-word.com (DHCP subnet IP)
• dhcp.station-number-word.com Address: (DHCP subnet IP)
• Modify server pools in the DHCP service

DHCP FIX/HELP

• For this lab I struggled with an error with making the proper server pools but the only one that was properly working was the vlan 1 configuration one, I'm not quite sure what I did wrong but I plan to update with the solution here:
