Summary

In this lab, we set up a new packet tracer file to create a map with a laptop and a server connect to two different switches, with said switches connecting to one router. After configuring with some of the settings on the devices we then pinged a connection between the laptop and the server to record the http packets using simulation mode and looking close into them for information such as the source and destination MAC addresses. During this lab I learned a very important trick which is to write down notes on packet tracer which is on the top bar of the main menu so that you can remind yourself what ports are certain devices plugged into.
