Using the GPSS Backup Database - FlagBrew/local-gpss GitHub Wiki
[!NOTE] These steps are designed to work for the latest version of Local GPSS, please make sure you are running the latest version before following them.
Automatic Download
As part of the release of local-gpss, I also included a final snapshot database of the Pokemon from GPSS. When you launch Local GPSS for the first time, one of the prompts it will ask you, is if you want to download the gpss.db from GitHub, if you press Y
it will automatically download the database for you. If you previously had a gpss.db
and then upgraded to a newer version of Local GPSS, it will not prompt you to download the database.
Manual Download
In the case you already had a gpss.db
before upgrading and wish to use this export, you can manually grab it from the 1.0.0 release or by clicking here
[!CAUTION] The server must not be running for this next part
Once you have it downloaded, put it in the same directory as where the local-gpss
application is located, the name must remain as gpss.db
.
[!CAUTION] If there is already a
gpss.db
present, please make sure you haven't uploaded any Pokemon/Bundles to local-gpss, otherwise you will lose those Pokemon/Bundles if you choose to use this database export. If you want to use it and not lose your Pokemon, make sure you have them backed up inside PKSM before overwriting it.
Once you've put the downloaded gpss.db
in the folder, you can safely start the server again, and you should now see the GPSS pokemon when you visit the cloud page.
