Wheelbase

The schematics are based on the DD1 but should be transferable to other Fanatec wheelbases, especially the connections for the peripherals. Depending on your base the CAN, Data, E-Stop, Torque-Key and/or Handbrake connectors might not be present.

The Schematic is not fully completed and i try to update it if i get new Informations. Feel free to let me know about things i should add or change.

Basic Inputs

Like shown in the schematics most inputs of the wheelbase are pulled up to +5V by a resistor when the circuit is open e.g. nothing is connected. To give a digital input the connection has to be shorted to ground e.g. by a button.

This means:

LOW --> Pressed

HIGH --> not Pressed

For Analog inputs, when needed or possible, a voltage between +0V(GND) and +5V has to be supplied. This can be achieved the easiest way by a potentiometer. Most of the time a higher voltage corresponds to a higher Value of the Device. For example a 100% pressed brake has a voltage of +5V and in a less pressed position a lower voltage.

Specific informations are to be found on the chapters of the peripherals.
