Welcome! Here you can find basic Informations about the electrical circuits in the Fanatec Wheelbases. This is intended to give an understanding how to connect buttons, switches or analog components so the wheelbase can interpret the signals in the right way. Mainly the Documentation of scattered information about the different connections should be collected here in one spot. It should be made accessible for all espacially for beginners in the DIY-Simracing World. If there is something unclear do not hesitate to ask or if you got informations i got wrong or simply do not have feel free to teach me about it so i can add/change it.

Because Pin 1 in the Wheelbase connector is connected to Pin 1 on the Fanatec peripheral devices and every other pin to their counterpart, the RJ12 cables have to be so that when you look at both ends notch up at the same time the strands have to be in the same sequence and must not be mirrored.

To prevent confusion there will be no further references to the cables, but just the female RJ12 Jacks of the wheelbase and the peripherals.
