The safe is locked by default when being placed. The default password is "1234". When unlocked the password can be changed and the inventory can be accessed.

The password is limited to 4 characters. After entering the pin the it gets confirmed with "[#]" and if it is correct the safe opens, otherwise it remains closed. If the safe is opened and a pin is entered followed by "[*]" the pin gets changed to the new pin. To close the safe you need to enter a wrong password and confirm by pressing "[#]".
