Set Up GitHub Pages

Open GitHub and click on Settings > Pages

Click on the Setting tab and then Pages in the left sidebar

Click on the “Deploy from a branch" button.

Click on the Deploy from a branch button

Select “GitHub Actions” from the dropdown.

Select GitHub Actions from the dropdown

Open GitHub and click on Settings > Environments

Click on the Settings tab and then click on Environments in the left sidebar

Click on the “github-pages” environment

Click on github-pages in the environment list

Click the “Add deployment branch or tag rule” link

Click the Add deployment branch or tag rule link

Enter “gh-pages” in the Name pattern field and click the “Add rule” button

Enter gh-pages in the Name pattern field and click the Add rule button

Click the “Save protection rules” button

Click the Save protection rules button
