The 'Hatchery' features - Farigh/pokeclicker-automation GitHub Wiki

This page is about the following features of the 'Automation' panel: Hatchery buttons

:large_orange_diamond: The 'Hatchery' feature

Enabling this feature will automatically put pokémon at max level (100) to the hatchery. The pokémon with the best breeding efficiency are added first.

To avoid unnecessary pokémon attack reduction, the in-game hatechy queue feature is not used by the automation. This allows the player to add some pokémons manually into it. Those will be added to the hatchery first.

:large_orange_diamond: The 'Hatchery' advanced settings

The advanced settings panel can be accessed by clicking the arrow button. Access to any other settings panel will be forbidden as long as another panel is open.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Hatch Eggs that can breed an uncaught pokémon' setting

Enabling this setting will put eggs to the hatchery before trying to put pokémons or fossils. Only eggs that can hatch a not-caught pokémon are used. Only one egg of a given type will be used at once, to avoid wasting resources.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Sorting on attribute' setting

This setting allows the player to choose the sorting attribute. The same attributes as the pokéclicker app are available. However, the Breeding efficiency one includes the regional debuff if set in the associated setting.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Prioritize pokémon of the following type' setting

This setting allows the player to choose a category to focus breeding on.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Prioritize pokémon from the following region' setting

This setting allows the player to choose a region to focus breeding on.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Prioritize pokémon of the following type' setting

This setting allows the player to choose a type to focus breeding on.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Regional attack debuff to consider' setting

This setting allows the player to set the regional debuff to consider. This is used to determine the most efficient pokémon to breed according to the selected sorting attribute.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Consider shiny pokémons last' setting

Enabling this setting will not put shiny pokémons in the hatchery, unless there are no non-shiny pokémon left. This can be a useful setting if you aim at unlocking new shinies.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Consider alternate forms last' setting

Enabling this setting will not put alternale form pokémons in the hatchery, unless there are no non-alternate form pokémon left. This can be a useful setting if you aim at unlocking shiny-based achievements, alternate form not being considered for those.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Focus on spreading the Pokérus' setting

Enabling this setting will prioritize pokémon breeding to maximize the Pokérus spreading. Other settings will still be used, however Pokérus-free pokémons will be chosen first, based on the currently contagious breeding pokémons. If no contagious pokémon is breeding, the automation will breed a new one.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Focus on mega evolution requirements unlock' setting

Enabling this setting will prioritize pokémon that need to reach a set amount of attack before being able to mega-evolve.

:large_blue_diamond: The 'Don't consider already unlocked mega evolutions' setting

:information_source: This setting is only shown when the 'Real evolution' challenge is enabled.

In real evolution mode, base pokémon looses their stats when evolving. In order to facilitate mego-evolution unlock, enabling this setting will keep the automation from selecting a base pokémon that already have its mega-evolution unlocked, while the Focus on mega evolution requirements unlock setting is enabled.
