Meta-messaging applications are typically Chromium wrappers which allow you to handle the notifications uniformly.

Examples include Franz, Station, and Wavebox.

Wavebox

To cycle tabs in a window, go to Settings, Keyboard shortcuts, and set the following values. Note that you have to type the hotkey's respresentation (i.e. instead of pressing Ctrl+Alt+Right, type Ctrl+Alt+Right):

  • Cycle Next Tabs: Ctrl+Alt+Right
  • Cycle Previous Tabs: Ctrl+Alt+Left

On Windows, this sometimes clashes with rotating the display 90/180/270 degrees, a feature provided by the Intel GPU driver. To disable this feature, press Ctrl+Alt+F12, pick Advanced mode, then Options and Support on the left, untick the Enable checkbox for Hot Key Functionality, and Apply.
