Unlike other lakes and reservoirs, instead of gateways, SUNP uses a Windows operated computer to fetch data from the buoy.

Setup and Configuration

A couple of scripts are in charge of staging the buoy data locally on the SUNP computer and then pushing them alongside the logs to the remote GitHub repository. The overall process is similar to what is done on Linux operated gateways, except it is modified to operate on the Windows operating system and simplified to do the basic Git tasks.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

The access to the SUNP computer is through remote desktop connection using TeamViewer. Manual run of TeamViewer on the SUNP computer is required.
