Sprint 1 Retrospective

What went well:

  • The main development goals set for our prototype for this sprint were done.
  • There was communication with other groups and some integration with their respective prototypes was developed.
  • The product listing page is integrated with a map for location-based searches.
  • Reached out to image search to potentially integrate them as well.

What went wrong:

  • We lost a team member during the sprint, our Product Owner, which really impacted how we organized as a team and made deciding how to progress a tough task.
  • Lacking a Product Owner, communication with other groups was much harder and delayed the integration of work with said groups.
  • As a result, the integration of Navigating to the Vendor Profile and Navigating to the Product Detail Page was not completed. However, all work on our side is fully ready for integration once coordination with the other groups is possible.

What could be done differently for the next sprint

  • Start communicating with other groups much sooner and more frequently, as strong integration between prototypes seems key to develop a well structured product.
  • Re-define roles in our group to deal with the loss of a Product Owner.

Project Board

Beginning of the sprint

End of the sprint

Due to the absence of a Product Owner at the start, the board was not fully prepared for the sprint, and throughout the sprint it underwent significant changes.

Sprint 2 Retrospective

What went well:

  • The Gateway has been completed and is fully operational, now available for use by all teams.

  • Product Listing and Filtering functionalities are working correctly and have been successfully deployed to the site, providing a smooth experience for end users.

What went wrong:

  • Sorting Products and Navigating to the Vendor Profile Page faced delays. The main issue was that authentication was not ready at the time, which caused these features to lag behind the schedule. As a result, the vendor-related parts of the site could not be fully implemented during this sprint.
