Service: Chaos Stream Proxy Configurator - EyevinnOSC/community GitHub Wiki
The Chaos Stream Proxy Configurator is a web-based UI companion to the Chaos Stream Proxy, letting you configure and manage stream corruption rules through a browser interface instead of constructing query parameters by hand. Available as an open web service in Eyevinn Open Source Cloud.
- If you have not already done so, sign up for an Eyevinn OSC account.
- You need a running Chaos Stream Proxy instance. Follow the Chaos Stream Proxy guide to create one first.
Navigate to the Chaos Stream Proxy Configurator service in Eyevinn Open Source Cloud and click Create chaosproxy-config.
Enter a name for the instance (alphanumeric, no spaces) and click Create. Once the status turns green and shows running, click the instance card to open the configurator URL.
In the configurator UI, enter the base URL of your Chaos Stream Proxy instance. The proxy URL follows the format:
https://<tenant>-<name>.eyevinn-chaos-stream-proxy.auto.prod.osaas.io
Use the interface to build corruption rules (delays, status codes, throttles, timeouts) and apply them to your target stream URL.
