For a successful Geoportal Server 1.1 installation, follow the steps below.

• First, check that your system meets the requirements specified in the Preinstallation topic.
• Next, follow all of the steps and guidelines in the Geoportal Server Installation Guide.

For certain system environments, additional documentation is provided in the documents listed below.

Geoportal Server Migration Guide	Organizations that have a Geoportal extension 9.3.x implementation and want to migrate their database to Geoportal Server

• Next after the Geoportal Server is installed, carry out the Post Deployment Actions.
