How to install Ubuntu from a USB install drive

To install Ubuntu from a USB install drive, reboot and enter the boot menu by pressing F12.

Select the USB install drive as the boot device and press the Enter key.

In the GNU GRUB menu, use the arrow keys to select "Install Ubuntu" and press the Enter key.

The installer will start.

Select the language and click "Continue".

Select the keyboard layout and click "Continue".

Select the network and click "Connect".

Enter network credentials and click "Connect".

Select "Normal Installation" and "Download updates while installing Ubuntu" and click "Continue".

Select "Erase disk and install Ubuntu" and click "Install Now".

You will be asked to confirm installation. Click "Continue".

Select your time zone location and click "Continue".

Enter your system and account information and click "Continue".

Ubuntu will begin installing.

When it's complete, click "Restart Now".

Your system will restart, and Ubuntu will present the account screen.
