Before You Install

Before installing ProteanCMS, you will need to check that... TO DO

Requirements on the Server Side

For a list of detailed requirements for your web host please refer to the official requirements page and the server requirement page.

Requirements on Local

  • A web browser of your choice
  • A text editor
  • FTP
  • Item 4

You will need to know how to use the text editor that you've selected and edit the main configuration file. If you're a Windows user, notepad will do. If you're an OS X user you can use TextEdit.

You will need to be able to use an FTP program to upload files and set the file permissions.

You are now all set to go onto installing ProteanCMS.
