Non-Adaptive / Legacy Icon Background

If you don't like non-adaptive icon being not uniform with the adaptive one, you can enable the Legacy Icon background at Settings > System > Legacy Icon Background, here you can change if you want to enable this feature and it's background color.

The limitation is that this applies on every non-adaptive / legacy Android app icon but not on customized icon (the one you put in the customization directory), and you need to load the icon, or reloading it by scrolling the icon out from screen and moving it back inside in case it alread loaded.

Material You

You can use Material You colors if your device and ROM supports it. However, as the feature limitation, the background will only update if you reload the icon.
