Reading Comprehension (2)

Title = What is Event Viewer and How to Use it in Windows 10

  • Event Viewer gives a detailed analysis of the working of all the applications in Windows 10 and provides a list of all the error events that occurred while running any application, helping us to determine the root cause of all problems.
  • The most important types of event logs are the application log, the security log, and the system log.
  • Application log = records events that are related to the interface/other important components necessary for an application to run
  • Security log = records events related to login attempts and other security features
  • System log = tracks events related to the pre-installed Windows programs
