How are the edge system differ from the cloud?

• Can we quantify heterogeneity between the cloud and edge, and how do they differ

What is unique about the mobility between data center/clouds and mobility?

why are edge tasks "small"? Are there tiny tasks, need quick scheduling, or longer running tasks? (scheduling overhead, how much is it pertinent)

How far away is the cloud? Quantify. Edge is always the first step, so by definition it is closer. (The Web'21 paper, state of the cloud connectivity).
