Whereas Legacy has improved hugely over the past 2 years fixing a lot of bugs and issues and adding some useful features (like improved shoutcaster mode), to the extent that it is now a viable equivalent (or even superior in some ways) of the old-standing ETPro competition mod, it still lacks 2 essential features for a full transition of the competitive scene:

• Legacy doesn't support ETTV and gamestv.org;
• there is no anti-cheat in Legacy and most likely there will never be due to its open-source nature.

However, there are plans of both adding the support for ETTV and implementing an unconventional anti-cheat feature consisting of real time player behavior analysis based on machine learning in the future. Please check the links to GitHub ET: Legacy repository below to learn more:
