1. Open EE Studio 2 and select "Archives (SSA)".

2. Click on "Output folder" to add designation folder where the files will be extracted and also make sure "decompress" is checked so the files will be decompressed.

3. Drag & drop ".ssa" file in the table under the "file list". Alternately, you can click on "Select SSA" and find your ".ssa" file manually.

   NOTE: If you want to extract "data.ssa" which contains files for modding, go to data folder of Empire Earth or Empire Earth The Art of Conquest and there you will find it.

4. Click on "UNPACK" and wait for it to be unpacked. After it is done it will give a message which says "DONE". Click "OK".

5. Click "clear" to remove files in the list if you want to extract another ".ssa" file.

6. It's done. Files are extracted and ready to be modified.
