Version 4.x (23 July 2024; CURRENT VERSION)

  • Updated README file:
    • added version number
    • referred to instructions to install Python environment to run the Compendium (sFSS) Navigator.
  • Removed the MetaArXiv manuscript from the /Manuscript folder. Current and future manuscripts will be available from this WIKI.
  • Update of Step-by-Step user guide
  • Improved instructions in 0_README.md in \Manuscript

Version 4.1.1 Nat. Comm. Supplement (26 July 2024)

  • This version is linked with Zenodo (see https://guides.github.com/activities/citable-code) and received a DOI.
  • Every future release of ENCORE will automatically be assigned a new DOI.
  • The Compendium Navigator (aka the sFSS Navigator) has also been linked separately.

Version 4.1 (16 May 2024)

This version is associated with the Nature Communication paper (accepted for publication).

  • Updated 00_README-FIRST.md to make a distinction between information for the Project Team and the Compendium Recipient.
  • Removed 00_README-FIRST.txt
  • Rename 00-README-FIRST.md to README.md such that it occurs on the landing page of this repository.
  • Removed 2_CITATION.txt and 3_LICENSE.txt. The Markdown files are left in the template for the Compendium Recipient (who doesn't need multiple formats).
  • Updated 3_LICENSE.md
  • Update of 0_README.md in \Code. Now refers to 0_README.md in 0_SoftwareEnvironment
  • Update of 0_README.md in 0_SoftwareEnvironment. Now contains more detailed information and links to conda, renv, etc
  • Updated gitignore-FSS-template.txt in \Processing to exclude all Data directories.
  • Update of Step-by-Step-ENCORE guide
  • Created a separate GitHub repository (ENCORE AUTOMATION), which currently contains scripts to automatically setup an ENCORE project but which will be expanded in the future. The Step-by-Step guide and the README.md files in the sFSS root refer to this repository.

'Discussions' and 'Wiki' have been activated to provide channels to communicate with the scientific community about ENCORE Version History has been moved from 'Issues' to the Wiki

Version 4.0 (19 February 2024)

Version associated with ENCORE publication. Includes binaries of the sFSS Navigator (Windows, Mac) in the Version 4.0 Release. Directory name 'NameOfComputation' changed to 'NameOfComputation_1'
