6.1 BATTERY SIZING

Total current in the circuit=2*1700+5000+600=9000m ~9A
After multiplying with saftey factor ,Total current= 9*1.2 =10.8 ~11A
Therefore,we require a 12v 11A DC power adapter.
6.2 MOTOR SIZING
T= μ x M x g x D/2 η
Here μ= Coefficient of Friction
T= Load Torque in N-m (convert it into kg-cm)
D= Diameter of the pulley in m
g= acceleration due to gravity
η= Drive efficiency(assuming it as 0.9) P= 2 x π x N x T/60
Here P= Power in watts/min
N= Revolutions per minute(speed)
T= Load Torque in kg-cm
Total weight acting on motors=0.025kg-cm Radius =7.0cm| t=m x r(mass * radius) 0.025x7.0=0.17kg-cm|
