Katanas are ninja-styled weapons with medium speed & damage. If you right-click and hold with a Katana, you will enter slash mode. Releasing right-click will teleport you forward, damaging all mobs in your path.

Note: speed represents how many times this weapon can attack in a second.

There are a variety of Slash enchantments available for Katanas. These enchantments theme the slash of the Katana and offer special benefits/effects. Current Slash enchantments include Dragon Slash, Flame Slash, Vampire Slash, and Thunder Slash.

Dragon Slash: leaves a trail of Dragon Breath in your wake, which deals damage to any mobs that step inside it.

Flame Slash: sets mobs on fire.

Vampire Slash: heals you for a single heart for each mob hit.

Thunder Slash: summons thunderbolts to smite entities you hit.

Note: tamed mobs are not included as entities hit, so these effects will not apply to them.
