■ Dragons are not born. People become dragons. There are several ways to become one.
- Dragon Altar
- Dragon Choice Menu on game start
- Command
● Dragon Altar
■ Click on it block and you get a menu for turning into a dragon. Craft:
- Oak dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Oak Log
- Stone dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Stone
- Sandstone dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Sandstone
- Red sandstone dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Red sandstone
- Purpur dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Purpur block
- Nether brick dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Nether brick
- Mossy cobblestone dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Mossy cobblestone
- Blackstone dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Blackstone
- Birch dragon altar = 1 Elder dragon bone + Birch Log
● Dragon Choice Menu
■ By default, at the start of the game you get the dragon selection menu about 5 seconds after connecting to the world. The game is paused. This menu will appear at the start of a new game, unless you skip it and if your server config has startWithDragonChoice = true
. In version 1.21.1+, if you accidentally skip this menu, this selection will be available again in your inventory.
● Commands
■ Before 1.21.1 you can also become a dragon with the command /dragon
. Examples: /dragon sea 1 true
(sea newborn dragon with wings and spin) or /dragon forest 3 false
(forest adult dragon without wings). In the new versions, this command has been augmented with the choice of body types: /dragon sea west 2 false
(sea young west dragon without wings)
■ Alternate command: /dragon-altar
and /dragon-editor
for open GUI.
■ In version 1.21.1+, the commands look like this: /dragon dragonsurvival:cave dragonsurvival:center dragonsurvival:adult Dev
. If you have difficulty with this, you better use it: /dragon-altar
.
● Back to Human
■ Before 1.21.1 you can return to human form at any time through all of these points above or the command /dragon human
. You will lose all growth and magic progress if saveAllAbilities = false
and saveGrowthStage = false
.
