  • ~800 DRArrival of the Dwarves The Thran’dural Range sees the birth of Dwarven civilization. They form seven Holds, independently strong yet loosely allied.


1000–2000 DR: Rise of the Mortal Realms

  • ~1100 DRThe Orcish Awakening Orcs awaken in the east. Clans clash before Gruzhak the Flame-Touched unites them under the Uzul’tok Confederacy and the Law of Fire and Bone.

  • ~1300 DREmergence of the Axolotls In the lush riverlands of the south, the amphibious Qet’zali form an egalitarian city. Their Circle of Elders fosters shared memory and a deep spiritual connection to the Field.

  • ~1500 DRBirth of the Slimes Sentient Slimes emerge in the Etrell Marsh. Their monarchy begins under King Sludgy, and their culture focuses on preservation and absorption.
