Amiel was a blue-collar worker at the regional power plant whose task was to regulate energy levels with his team. One day, nearing the end of the team’s shift, the plant’s cores were mysteriously deregulated. Despite the team’s efforts, the energy surplus could not be contained and led to a violent, unstable release of pure energy. The burst managed to atomize the entire team; all but Amiel. On the brink of atomic imbalance, Amiel gained an almost ethereal, astral form. Escaping before any teams were dispatched, Amiel knew his life was no longer the same. Leaving everything behind, he turned to the adventurer’s guild to start anew.
