We utilize TorGuard as our VPN service (which has 42 different country exit nodes that we can test from).

OS X Instructions

The setup steps are simple:

  1. Ask Gleb for access to LastPass.
  2. Login to TorGuard. Search for "Torguard" in LastPass for credentials.
  3. Download the VPN Client for OS X from here
  4. Install the client (drag it to your Applications folder).
  5. Open TorGuard and from the exit node list, choose "Mexico/Mexico City" from the VPN list at the top.
  6. Enter the "Torguard" credentials from LastPass as the login info. Click on "Remember Credentials".
  7. Login and you're set!

Important Notes

  1. When you use the VPN server, ALL traffic gets routed over it. So existing connections will likely drop, then re-connect.
  2. We have a maximum of 5 simultaneous client connections, so make sure to disconnect when you're not using the client! It'll speed up the rest of your traffic too. ;)
