Overview

Arcade is a 58mm button maker. It takes four main components:

User Guide

Step 1. Gather Materials

  • Make a simple design and cut it to a 58x58mm circle.
  • You can use the circle cutter included with the kit, but it's not very good.
  • Get your aluminium backing, thin plastic coat sheet (they are very thin, so it will take a few tries to get to just one sheet), plastic backing, and your design.

Step 2. Put the aluminium backing, face-up, in the left compartment of the button maker.

  • There are two sides, one flat and one with a lip. Put the flat side face-up.

Step 3. Put your design on top of the aluminium backing.

Step 4. Place the plastic sheet on top of your design.

  • This can be a bit annoying, as the plastic sheet can move your design.
  • I recommend holding your design down with one finger and very gently laying the plastic sheet on top.

Step 5. Slide the left compartment under the central lever.

Step 6. Depress the lever.

  • The lever will not go all the way down. This is normal.

Step 7. Slide the bottom compartment to the right, and place the pin back with the "Upward" side facing you.

  • Try to align it to the direction your design is in, so it won't be a pain to orient afterwards.

Step 8. Slide the right compartment under the central lever.

Step 9. Depress the lever, ensuring that the lever is fully down.

  • You can give it 1-3 presses for good measure.

Step 10. Enjoy your design!
