The Events Room has a PA with three microphones and a 3.5mm stereo audio jack to plug into a computer, etc.

These instructions are printed on a sheet taped to the top of the mixer cabinet (the black box in the corner next to the kitchen window), but also stored here digitally:

WANT SOUND?

1. Plug the 3.5mm jack cable from the mixer into the headphones port of your device (do this first to avoid any loud surprises)

2. Turn on the mixer inside the big black box. It's the one at the top. The power button is on the right hand side of the front panel.

3. Turn on both speakers. The rocker switch is at the back and shows a green light when the speaker is turned on. If there's a weird noise coming from the speaker, make sure the other (light grey) toggle switches are not pressed in.

4. Feel free to use the blue, yellow and red microphones. Remember to coil up the wires and put them back on the ducks when you've finished singing.
