in this lab, we Configured and observed a simple routed network with a multi-layered switch and 3 endpoint devices.

Commands used: ping

I didn't encounter any difficulties or troubleshooting in this lab but I did encounter an issue with mistyping an ip address into PC3 which caused me to redownload the packet tracer file, until then I found my error

useful info: simulation mode lets you see each individual step of a packet

clicking on a packet and going to the outbound/inbound info shows a lot more details of the packet.

How do you set the gateway address on a workstation in Packet Tracer? using the switch its connected to, I can assign it a gateway to use

How do you set the IP and subnet mask on different interfaces of a multilayer switch? on each interface with a connected endpoint device there is an ip config menu where you can assign the ip and subnet mask for each interface
