This in-class group activity gives you a basic introduction into workflow execution with the Camunda platform.

Use Case - Pizza Service

Tasks:

1. Pre-requisite: Form a group of three with your colleagues whose seats are next to you.
2. Assign the following roles: chef, courier and assistant.
3. Create 4+ pizza orders and the roles (users) should do their work.

Questions:

• How can the roles be selected and differentiated?
• Which roles have access to the cockpit?
• Investigate the instances including tokens, workflow data and identify the variables of them?
• Which roles have access to the admin dashboard?
• Do we have users who are assigned to multiple groups?
