Simulation
Many modern clothes use dForce, which simulates draping and movement of garments in DAZ Studio. The corresponding feature in Blender is cloth simulation, which has been considerably improved in Blender 2.90.The DAZ Importer offers some basic tools for importing dForce simulations. However, these tools can only be the first step in setting up a simulation in Blender, because the simulations engines in DAZ Studio and Blender are different. Simulation support has been discussed in the blog posts on dForce simulations and Simulations moved.

- Add Softbody: Create simulation from DAZ data.
- Make Deflection: Make a low-poly deflection mesh from the active mesh.
- Make dForce Simulation: Create simulation from DAZ data.
- Make Collision: Add collision modifiers to selected meshes.
- Make Cloth: Add cloth modifiers to selected meshes.
In order for the simulation tools to work, the global Simulation option must be enabled. It is found in the Meshes section.
