Connect Bone Chains

- Selected: Connect selected bones.
- Arms: Connect arm bones.
- Legs: Connect leg bones.
- Spine: Connect spine bones.
- Neck: Connect neck bones.
- Fingers: Connect finger bones.
- Toes: Connect toe bones.
- Tongue: Connect tongue bones.
- Location: Where to connect parent and child bone.
- Child Head, Connect at the head of the child bone.
- Parent Tail, Connect at the tail of the parent bone.
- Center, Connect at the midpoint between the parent tail and child head.
- Unlock Last Bone: Remove location locks of the last bone in each chain for use as Auto self target.
- Align Last Bone: Make last bone in each chain parallel to the second last one.
Here we have connected the neck, spine and legs.

If the Selected option is enabled, the other options are not available.

Connecting chains can also be useful for other types of figures. Here is a hair rig where all bones in the chains have been selected with the Select Chains tool. This illustrates what the Align Last Bone option does.
