Setup

  1. Make sure that the list is formatted as a checkbox - [ ]
  2. Any issue that has been resolved should be marked as completed - [X]
  3. Feedback that we don't need can be marked with a strikthrough ~~Text~~, to prevent duplicating them if removed

Landing Page

  • They were confused on why we have "Manage" on DNS and Certificate card when there are currently no available certificate or records
  • They asked if we can have a footer on whom to contact when they require help
  • Instruction is very clear about what to do and the steps toward completion

Header

  • It is not clear that the links in the header are links, there is not clear hover animations
  • Particularly unclear how to return to home page, only indication is cursor changing on hovering title

DNS Record Table

  • It was not obvious that you need to click Search button on dnschecker.org before you can see the status of a DNS Record
  • It was not obvious how to check the status of created record on DNS checker website as it does not update anything
  • Instructions link wasn't very noticeable

DNS Record Form (Create)

  • User will rollback to a previous page to learn what to insert on each form labels
  • DNS Record Name does not indicate that only uppercases are invalid
    • User was confused why they received an error based on the given error message
  • There is not enough information to allow the user to understand what to write on the form
    • No information on what "Value" is required for each "Type"
  • It was not obvious that Value means the Value field because Value is a generic term
  • The instruction text below the main heading contains a set of steps which would look better as an ordered or unordered list

  • the FAQ sit flush with the bottom of the page which makes it feel as though there is more content to scroll, perhaps leave a slight margin between bottom of page and FAQ

Certificate (Request)

  • Image does not have an alt tag
  • It was not obvious whether the user had to stay on the page after a certificate request.
