VCN Cleanup Verification: Selected the specific compartment containing the VCN (Hub Network) and initiated a resource scan to ensure all associated resources—such as Subnets, Security Lists, Route Tables, and Internet Gateways—were successfully deleted.
Final Destruction: Once the scan verified that no dependent resources remained, proceeded to safely terminate and permanently delete the VCN.
Automated VCN Wizard Resource Cleanup: The VCN scan identified remaining infrastructure components (NAT Gateway, Service Gateway, Private Route Table, and Private Security List) that were automatically generated by Oracle's VCN Wizard during the initial setup.
Safe Termination: Since the private subnet was already deleted, these remaining wizard-created resources were unattached and posed no operational risk. Proceeded to click "Delete All" to safely purge these components along with the VCN itself, successfully achieving a clean slate.
- our VCN has been successfully deleted now
