Cloud Service Health Dashboard
Overview
The Cloud Service Health Dashboard in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is used to monitor the health status of OCI services and regions.
It helps administrators check:
- Current service health status
- Ongoing incidents or outages
- Resolved issues
- Service degradation alerts
- Historical outage records
This dashboard is useful for identifying whether an issue is occurring from the OCI platform side instead of the application or server side.
Accessing the Cloud Service Health Dashboard
In OCI Console:
- Click on Announcements from the top navigation menu
- Select View Health Dashboard
After opening the dashboard, the current status of OCI services and regions can be viewed.
Current Service Status
The dashboard displays the health status of multiple OCI services.
Status indicators include:
- Green → Service is operating normally
- Yellow/Orange → Service degradation or partial issue
- Red → Major outage or service disruption
This helps administrators quickly identify whether OCI services are functioning properly.
Viewing Historical Incidents
The Health Dashboard also provides historical incident details.
To check previous issues:
- Open the Health Dashboard
- Click on History
- Select the required month or incident
- Click on View More
Example:
- March 2026 incident
- OCI VCN Ashburn – Resolved
This indicates that an outage or service issue occurred during that period and was later resolved by Oracle.
Incident Details
Each incident record may contain:
- Incident summary
- Affected service or region
- Current status
- Severity level
- Resolution updates
- Reference number / Incident ID
The reference number is important for tracking and communicating with Oracle Support.
Raising a Support Ticket
If additional clarification or updates are required, a support ticket can be raised with Oracle Technical Support.
To raise a support request:
- Go to search type support center then click on Technical support requests.
- Create a new support ticket
- Provide the incident reference number
- Select severity level
- Describe the issue and business impact
Oracle Support will provide updates and resolution details for the reported issue.
Subscription Requirement
Creating a support ticket with Oracle Technical Support requires:
- Valid OCI subscription
- Paid support plan / paid account access
Users with free-tier accounts may have limited support options.
Benefits of Cloud Service Health Dashboard
- Helps identify OCI-side outages quickly
- Provides real-time service health visibility
- Reduces troubleshooting time
- Tracks historical incidents and outages

- Improves incident management and monitoring
Note
Before troubleshooting application or server-level issues, always verify the OCI Health Dashboard to confirm whether the issue is related to Oracle Cloud services.
