• The following resolution is for if you receive an error saying the trust relationship between the workstation and primary domain failed. Select “OK.”
•
• Press the Windows key, right-click “Computer” and select “Properties.”
•
• Select “Advanced system settings.”
•
• Select the “Computer Name” tab and “Change...”
•
• Select “Workgroup,” type “WORKGROUP” into the “Workgroup:” box, then click “OK.”
•
• Select “OK.”
•
• Type the domain admin login and password then select “OK.”
•
• Select “OK.”
•
• Select “OK.”
•
• Select “Close.”
•
• Select “Restart Now.”
•
• Log in as the local admin when the PC comes back up.
•
• Press the Windows key, right-click “Computer” and select “Properties.”
•
• Select “Advanced system settings.”
•
• Select the “Computer Name” tab and “Change…”
•
• Select “Domain,” type in the desired domain name, then click “OK.”
•
• Type the domain admin login and password then select “OK.”
•
• Select “OK.”
•
• Select “OK.”
•
• Select “Close.”
•
• Select “Restart Now.”
