How to interact with Game Masters - DevLan-Cybersecurity/arvan GitHub Wiki
Playing with a Master means reading the cues and catching them, in order to get to solve the story/game. What a Master say is always right. He is a referee. It means that, even if you have made a mistake, you play the outcome without controversy, politely pointing out the situation with an official ticket, where possible, or the next day. Game Master and Game Operators will surely find a solution to the problem to not penalize the player refferring to their mistake.
Please to note that the intentions of a Master are not to harm or inhibit someone’s game, so if an event happens too negative or too positive, do not take it personally. You have to understand that behind it there is a very thorough study of the events and the consequences that it could have in the game and in the history.
Let me give you an example of an extreme situation that could happen. A Master also has the power to decide which natural disasters occur on your own Kingdom or even on the whole world. Imagine a meteor shower. Of course it is understood that those who have decided to play separately from role-playing and who have chosen to play their survival mode without wanting to be involved, then they will never be. But for those who have chosen to play in the main mode of Arvan, could, following a catastrophe, find all their belongings completely destroyed.
But you don’t have to consider it as a wrong... You have to take advantage of this opportunity as a way to create new game... For example, the beginning of a new Quest, such as recovering mysterious objects that would make you go back in time, recover all the lost buildings and stop the arrival of meteorites in time. Anything is possible in the game... just have the creativity and involve the other players.
