Director & Event Modification

Map Items

  • Added shotgun and SMG spawns to the corner room on the upper floor before the one way drop.

Ammo Piles

  • Made the ammo pile by the humvee always spawn.
  • Replaced the hunting rifle on the bridge with an ammo pile.
  • Added an ammo pile in lower motel room before the one way drop.
  • Added an ammo pile on the patch of dry land opposite the one way drop.
  • Added an ammo pile by the outhouse after the one way drop.
    • The item spawns on and after the drop will not spawn extra ammo piles.

Hittables

  • Added a hittable dumpster outside the saferoom.
  • Added an alarm car on the highway before the one way drop.

Developer Note: This should help make this area a bit more infected sided for tank fights, as well as providing an extra hittable for the motel tank.

Exploits Blocked

  • Blocked being able to common hop onto the white truck and part of the fence on the bridge.
  • Blocked survivors from being able to get on the motel roof.
  • Blocked survivors from being able to climb back up to one of the platforms on the one way drop.
  • Blocked jumping from the outhouse to the tree.
  • Removed some shopping carts that could be used for exploits.

Out of Bounds

  • Blocked an out of bounds spot on the left of the final hill behind the fences.
  • Blocked survivors from being able to get out of bounds behind a hedge before the final hill.

Stuck Spots

  • Fixed players getting partially stuck between a shrub and a barricade on the offramp.
  • Blocked a stuck spot on the truck under the bridge.

Nuisance & Quality of Life Changes

  • Improved clipping on the car window on the left path exiting the saferoom.
  • Improved clipping on the back of the white taxi outside the saferoom so players can jump on it reliably.
  • Solidified non-solid shrubs by the saferoom.
  • The door for the smoker pull at the billboard spawns in an open position.
  • Added windows to trucks that didn't have glass.
  • Clipped the car stoppers in both parking lots to prevent players getting stuck.
  • Added props to visualize ladders between motel balconies.
  • Blocked survivors from being able to spawn tanks early and get extra distance by jumping at a fence near the pool.
  • Improved clipping on the police car to stop players getting stuck on the lights.
  • Added fences on the motel roof by the one way drop to show where the skybox cuts blocks off the roof.

  • Added extra shrubs on both sides of the saferoom.
  • Added a bus by the billboard in the saferoom.
  • Added a plank to the Whispering Oaks sign by the saferoom.

  • Added 3 trees in the corner by the saferoom, after the billboard.

  • Added a van behind a truck in the saferoom to assist with spawning and jumping onto the truck.
  • Added a shrub by the police car by the one way drop.
  • Added 2 shrubs and a tree in the grassy area before the one way drop.
  • Added an ambulance on the highway before the one way drop.
  • Added a vending machine under the stairs by the one way drop.
  • Added a shrub opposite the stairs before the one way drop.
  • Added rocks at the top of the one way drop.
  • Added a tree in the back of the open area before the steep hill.
  • Added a bus at the top of the hill before the end saferoom.
  • Added a parking lot light on the left by the end saferoom.
  • Added a bus by the end saferoom.
  • Extended a concrete barrier by the end saferoom for spawns.
  • Added some fence covers around the end saferoom area.
  • Added highway barrels by the end saferoom.

  • Removed the clip on the motel roof by the drop from the Last Stand update.

Triggers

  • Removed a trigger before the one way drop that sets some director spawn limits.

Ladders

  • Fixed a ladder on a van near the start of the map so players don't get stuck at the top.
  • Added infected ladders to climb to the motel stairs before the one way drop.
  • Added an infected ladder to prevent SI getting permanently stuck behind the bridge debris after the one way drop.
  • Added an additional infected ladder behind the fence by the alarm car at the end of the map.
  • Added an infected ladder on the fence behind the end saferoom.
