Materials needed:

  1. This mod
  2. File archiver (7zip works just fine)
  3. Internet
  4. A mouse
  5. A keyboard
  6. Knowledge of how to double click a folder
  7. The ability to drag and drop a piece of data into a folder
  8. The ability to click buttons on a tab
  9. Minecraft Java Edition
  10. Minecraft Forge (Appropriate version)

Disclaimer: Depending on your file resolution, your skin may not work. In addition, the name of the mob can not be changed.

With that out of the way, here's a fairly easy tutorial on how to change the Mob of Me's skin!

From this default Mob of Me skin

To your own!

  1. First, download the skin you want to change it to. Use a skin stealer site like this one

  2. Next, rename the file to "mobofme.png"

  3. Go to where your Minecraft Earth Mod .jar is (should be in your mods folder)

  4. Open it with your archive software

  5. Navigate (double click) this way: assets -> minecraft_earth_mod

  6. Don't worry about all the other files, simply drag your "mobofme.png" into the "textures" folder

  7. Now exit the software and start up Minecraft!

  8. Enjoy your own custom Mob of Me!
