Player is a former war hero on his deathbed reminiscing on past battles. Player goes through the war hero's 8 major battles.

Background:
In the distant future, humanity has spread across many galaxies. Factions have been formed. The four factions with the most power and resources are Sionann, Tellervo, Ismene, and Evadne. These factions have spanned many millennia and new cultures have formed. There was a long period of peace between these four factions. But the time of peace came to an end when the discovery of a new resource, ethenium, was found in a neutral galaxy. Not much is publicly known about this resource, but it is rumored that it has been used for weapons of mass destruction. Kronos, a famous military commander from Tellervo, took control of Tellervo and waged war against the nearby faction Ismene. The people of Ismene who were not expecting this were defeated. This is the story of how an up and coming soldier from Evadne brought balance back to the universe.
