Problem

You have installed GraXpert Process in PixInsight but you do not find it in submenu PROCESS > Etc.

You have checked URL in RESOURCES > Updates > Manage repositories and did a check update.

You can find the process with signature file in PixInsight/bin directory.

All looks ok but GraXpert is not (or no more) displayed in PROCESS > Etc and not (or no more) in list of modules loaded during PixInsight lauching.

Solution

PixInsight can decide to "disable" the scripts or modules if an error occure during script/module loading (start of PixInsight).

The only possibility to fix it is to reset all updates.

To do so:

1. Go to RESOURCES > Updates > Reset updates and confirm
2. Restart PixInsight and confirm update
3. Go to RESOURCES > Updates > Check for updates and confirm updates
4. Restart PixInsight and confirm update
5. Check logs displayed by PixInsight You should see GraXpert in the list of process loaded and process should be displayed in PROCESS > Etc submenu.

If that not fix the case, please open a case.

Provide logs from PixInsight point 4 and 5.

Good to know

When PixInsight decide to disable a script or module, it will remain disabled till next update or PixInsight version upgrade.
