DOL server requires a machine (Windows, Linux, MacOS, ...) with .Net 8.0 installed and a database to work correctly.

The database can be SQlite (quick setup) or MariaDB (more setup needed, but preferred solution).

You will need some manual setup explained in this Wiki to have a fully DAOC server running.
