The System Information List

Whether out of interest or for troubleshooting, the System Information list can be a useful resource. After selecting the Advanced Checkbox below the main canvas, it can be accessed from the Extras tab - at the very bottom of the pane.

The System Requirements for FooocusPlus are listed on the general information page, and this list shows the memory you actually have:

• 6GB of video RAM (8GB recommended for SDXL base models, 12GB for Flux)
• 16GB of system RAM (32GB recommended for SDXL, 48GB for Flux) The first line of the System Information list displays the System RAM and Video RAM values. These numbers are a rough guide to the performance levels you can expect, for FooocusPlus and personal generative AI platforms in general. The greater the amount of Video RAM, the faster image generation will proceed. The amount of System RAM is not as critical but for loading generative base models, 48GB is ideal. My own preference would be for 64GB to allow some headroom. At least RAM upgrades are lower in cost than most other computer enhancements.

Smart Memory

On the second line, Smart Memory is a feature that allows generative base models and LoRAs to remain in VRAM instead of being flushed out. This may speed up image generation, although there is some debate about that. Smart Memory is automatically enabled if the video card contains 12GB of VRAM or greater. Regardless of VRAM size, Smart Memory can be enabled with the "--disable-offload-from-vram" command line argument or disabled using the "--always-offload-from-vram" argument.

Video System and Software

The remainder of the Information lists video card data, installed programs, Torch and Xformer information (used to support the video card) and the current FooocusPlus version. These lines can be helpful for troubleshooting, especially to confirm whether the video card is being properly supported.
