Preset Selectors

The Power of Presets

For mainline Fooocus, presets were one of the central features that made it an easy to use interface. By selecting a preset, the user automatically selected an specific base model, refiner and LoRAs, with all the appropriate setup details that were required to produce beautiful and artistic results. FooocusPlus continues with this helpful innovation.

All this preset information is stored in text files, as shown below.

Preset Selection

One disadvantage of the original selection system was that all presets were collected into one dropdown list, which could become awkward and even overwhelming. FooocusPlus replaces this system with a Preset Bar located above the main canvas and a pair of preset dropdowns - one for Preset Categories and one for specific Presets.

Preset Catagories

There are currently twelve active preset catagories, plus an "All" selection that makes the Presets selector act in an identical way to original Fooocus - showing all presets at once - and a "Random" selection that chooses a preset by chance.

The Preset Bar

The Preset Bar at the top of the main FooocusPlus window gives instant access to Favorite presets. In the case of the LowVRAM mode, the Preset Bar displays presets that are appropriate for systems that have a graphics card with less that 6GB of video RAM (VRAM). In either case the Preset Bar allows one button access to presets without selecting the "Advanced" checkbox that reduces the size of the main canvas.

If you would prefer not to use the Preset Bar it can be removed using the Preset Bar checkbox located under the main canvas, or by setting the "enable_preset_bar" option to false in UserDir\config.txt.
