This program does the disk method. It doesn't save you that much work but it's nice.

Disk Method Summary

Finds the volume of a solid of revolution. Basically, takes a function on a certain interval, spins it around an axis, then calculates the volume of that solid.

The Program

1. Input the function in the y= menu, using x regardless of if you are calculating for x or y.

2. Run the program by pressing prgm on your calculator. Then, select DISKMTHD. Then press enter. You will see the following screen.

3. Input the start and end interval.

4. Press enter and you will see the volume of the solid.
